In recent years, as rural grid construction continues to expand and deepen, the operational modes of rural distribution networks are undergoing fundamental transformations. On the one hand, various types of users are placing new demands on voltage quality and power supply reliability; on the other hand, the implementation of comprehensive automation and unmanned operation at 35kV substations in rural grids has become the direction for the development of county-level grid automation. During this large-scale construction and development process, in order to rationally allocate construction investments and make efficient use of existing resources, many operating substations are undergoing technical upgrades primarily through capacity expansion, extension, and renovation—without necessarily requiring immediate replacement or scrapping of equipment. Particularly for 10kV outgoing switchgear, many older substations, while operating within the limits of their original equipment capabilities, can fully meet the management requirements of microcomputer-based automated systems simply by replacing relevant accessories, adding new components, and modifying circuits.
