公司介绍
The Jiaxiang County Loulan Sculpture and Stone Carving Manufacturer has adopted the names of Jiaxiang and Loulan—two places with deep historical roots, rich cultural heritage, and a highly advanced civilization—as its corporate name. This imbues our stone sculptures with profound cultural significance and historical depth, allowing exquisite traditional handcraft techniques to beautify our living environment. The history of Jiaxiang stone carving can be traced back to time immemorial. As early as the Eastern Han Dynasty, the master carver Wei Gai selected fine stones from the sunny side of the southern mountains, carefully choosing those with flawless, unblemished colors. He then erected an altar in front and built a temple behind, adorning it with intricate carvings and paintings that have come to be regarded as one of the artistic treasures of ancient Chinese culture. Among them, the pair of massive stone lions housed in the Wu Family Shrine represent the only extant stone lion sculptures with a precisely documented date, making them true masterpieces of stone lion carving art and the progenitors of this craft. These stone carvings created by ancient Jiaxiang artisans showcase to the world the brilliant achievements of ancient Chinese stone carving. The lifelike images on these stone slabs vividly demonstrate the superb artistic level of the Chinese nation 1,800 years ago and reveal the historical and cultural essence of the pre-Qin period. UNESCO once praised these Han Dynasty stone reliefs, noting that they surpassed both contemporary Egyptian stone carvings and Greek vase paintings. Loulan is an ancient city site in the Western Regions of China, and it has long been a focal point of global attention. The ruins of Luntai Ancient City, the remains of Qiemo, ancient beacon towers, the “Beauty of Loulan,” and ancient rock paintings and stone balustrades—all are world-class tourist attractions. Throughout human history, Loulan has been a name shrouded in mystery. Its former glory has secured for it a unique place in world cultural history. The interest and enthusiasm people display toward Loulan’s culture fully demonstrate that Loulan does not belong solely to China—it belongs to all humanity. It is an immeasurable historical legacy left by our ancestors and a source of pride for the Chinese people. Today, let us harness traditional culture and handcrafted stone-carving skills to serve the development of both spiritual and material civilization in modern times. Let us create outstanding stone sculptures and promote artistic innovation. With a sincere heart, let us carve out artworks that touch the soul. Only through relentless practice and mastering seventy-two transformations can we face eighty-one tribulations with ease. We are willing to dedicate our lives’ sweat and expertise to creating even more exceptional stone sculptures for society—Sun Zhaoxue.
