Shandong Haihua Liwei New Materials Co., Ltd. (formerly the Potassium Sulfate Plant of Shandong Haihua Co., Ltd.) is a comprehensive utilization enterprise for bittern resources, complementing the Yangkou Salt Farm of Shandong Haihua Co., Ltd. Its annual production capacity is: 20,000 tons/year of potassium sulfate; 100,000 tons/year of magnesium chloride (in flake and granular forms); and 24,000 tons/year of refined salt.
The plant’s production technology is uniquely developed in China and has reached internationally advanced levels. It has successively won the Third Prize of the National Science and Technology Invention Award, the Second Prize of the China National Light Industry Council, and the Second Prize of the Shandong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, as well as obtaining the Certificate for Key National New Products—Potassium Sulfate. The plant boasts strong technical capabilities, standardized production management, complete testing facilities, and stable product quality. Its “Potassium Sulfate and Magnesium Chloride Production” system has passed both ISO9001:2000 International Quality System Certification and ISO14001 Environmental Management System Certification. The magnesium chloride products have been awarded the Certificate for Excellent Magnesium Chloride Products by the China Magnesite Industry Association. Moreover, the “Potassium Sulfate and Magnesium Chloride” products have been recognized by the China National Inspection Association as “Nationwide Stable and Qualified Products,” receiving both the corresponding “Certificate” and “Bronze Medal.” In March 2007, the magnesium chloride products were granted the Access Certificate by the China Magnesite Industry Association.
The plant ranks among the leaders in China’s industry in terms of comprehensive utilization of bittern resources. The “Hailai” brand potassium sulfate and magnesium chloride are the only products nationwide made from underground brine as raw material.Companies
