Yingchuang New Materials originates from Zhejiang University and is guided by the philosophy of “pursuing scientific truth and creating new materials.” Taking the development of internationally original ABC super-elastic latex and its application technologies as its starting point, the company focuses on the development, research, and industrial-scale production of novel polymer materials, striving to become a comprehensive supplier of green new materials and their application solutions.
In 2019, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) listed “reversible-deactivation radical polymerization” as one of the 10 chemical innovations likely to transform human society. The technical team led by Yingchuang New Materials’ Chief Scientist—Distinguished Professor at Zhejiang University and National Young Top-notch Scientist—has spent over a decade conducting in-depth research, breaking through the technical bottlenecks of low molecular weight and insufficient mechanical properties inherent in reversible-deactivation radical polymerization products. They have achieved, for the first time internationally, a breakthrough in the preparation of high-molecular-weight acrylate block copolymers (named “ABC Super-Elastic Latex,” trademark EM-ABC®). This technology has been honored with awards including the “First Prize in Natural Sciences from the Ministry of Education” and the “First Prize in Science and Technology from Zhejiang Province.”
The company currently operates two major in-house R&D centers: the “Yingchuang New Materials Hangzhou Research Institute” and the “Materials R&D Laboratory.” It has also established a strategic partnership with the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering at Zhejiang University and possesses a material and adhesive production base with a capacity of 1,000 tons. To date, the company has secured investments from institutions and individuals including Zhejiang Longsheng [600352] and Ou Fang Angel Fund, and has assembled a dynamic and professional research team.Companies
