The world’s most influential, international, and large-scale “SNEC 2022 International Solar Energy Industry and PV Engineering (Shanghai) Exhibition” will be held grandly from May 24 to 26, 2023, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in China.
The SNEC Photovoltaic Conference & (Shanghai) Exhibition has grown from 15,000 square meters in its first edition in 2007 to 220,000 square meters in 2021. A total of 2,200 companies from 109 countries and regions around the globe participated, with international exhibitors accounting for 30%. It has become the most influential, professional, and large-scale international photovoltaic event in China, Asia, and worldwide.
The exhibition covers everything from photovoltaic production equipment, materials, solar cells, photovoltaic application products and components, to photovoltaic engineering systems, intelligent control, real-time monitoring, full-process tracking, and energy storage enhancement—encompassing every link in the photovoltaic industry chain. This year’s exhibition is expected to attract 1,800 exhibitors and cover an area of 200,000 square meters. At that time, more than 150,000 professionals and over 8,000 companies—including buyers, suppliers, and system integrators—will gather in Shanghai.
The “Photovoltaic Leaders’ Dialogue,” led by the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA), will invite leaders from Europe, Asia, and the Americas, CEOs of mainstream industry companies, renowned academic experts, representatives from market analysis institutions, organizations, media outlets, and members of the general public to jointly discuss cooperation and development strategies for the photovoltaic industry in the three major markets: Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
The “Photovoltaic Scientists’ Conference,” chaired by Professor Armin ABERLE, Director of the Singapore Solar Energy Research Institute (SERIS), with co-chairs Professor Joachim LUTHER from SERIS and Professor Martin GREEN from the University of New South Wales in Australia, will invite the world’s most authoritative scientists in the photovoltaic industry to deliver inspiring keynote speeches. Concurrently, a “Scientists and Industry CTO Summit” will also be held to explore cutting-edge technologies and development trends in solar photovoltaics.
With the arrival of the Photovoltaic 2.0 era, the Asian region is poised to become the world’s largest photovoltaic installation market this year and maintain its position as the “world’s factory.” For those looking to enter mainland China, neighboring Asian countries, and other emerging markets, the “Global Photovoltaic Summit” is an event not to be missed. The summit will explore future trends in project development and risk mitigation within the photovoltaic sector, as well as discuss strategies for differentiation and bank financing, helping enterprises achieve long-term sustainable development in this new photovoltaic era. It serves as an important platform for exchange between nations and regions, as well as among other stakeholders in the photovoltaic industry regarding insurance matters.
The global top three market research firms—IHS, BloombergNEF, and TrendForce’s EnergyTrend division—will join forces to co-organize this year’s “Global Photovoltaic Market Outlook and Development Strategy Forum.” They will analyze hot topics related to the current status and future outlook of the global solar photovoltaic market from various perspectives. Additionally, relevant industry organizations and institutions from around the world will share the latest policies and development strategies for emerging markets.
In addition, during the conference, there will be seminars on the current status and prospects of distributed photovoltaic power generation and energy storage systems in the solar energy field, as well as workshops on Sino-German and Sino-U.S. cooperation in the solar photovoltaic industry.
The SNEC 2023 conference features diverse formats and rich content, offering exciting insights into all aspects of photovoltaic technology and manufacturing—including equipment and devices, materials, processes, manufacturing, integration, and emerging photovoltaic technologies and applications. It’s an ideal opportunity for you to understand future market trends in the photovoltaic industry, cooperation and development strategies, national policy orientations, and the industry’s most advanced technologies, as well as to showcase your achievements to the industry.
We look forward to seeing you at the “16th SNEC 2023 International Solar Energy Industry and PV Engineering (Shanghai) Exhibition & Forum!”
